Payment for our dentistry is due at the time of service. Because we are obligated to complete whatever treatment we begin, we ask that payment in full be made when a service commences. To reserve a large block of time to minimize the number of visits you must make or for extensive treatments, a refundable deposit may be required to hold that reservation, just as you would reserving a hotel room. (With two business days’ notice – not two calendar days – notice) that deposit is refundable.
There may be a fee charged for appointment no-shows or cancellation less than two business days prior. That fee will not be covered by insurance and must be paid prior to re-scheduling. We do not make person to person calls to remind people of their appointments. We do send text and/or e-mail reminders, but patients are responsible for their scheduling).
People covered by dental insurance managed by Delta Dental or Aetna must pay the portion not covered by them (co-payment), as these companies are contracted to pay us directly for the balance. We will assist patients who may have difficulty in getting their benefits, but after 90 days, regardless of insurance holdups, the balance is due. Other insurance plans will send a check to the patients. We will do our best to estimate the portion they will pay, but patients are responsible for their entire bill regardless of their insurance.
